For 35 years, the Apex Group has been providing OSP and ISP engineering services to top-tier clients across the globe, including the US, Canada, India, the Middle East, and Europe. We have proudly engineered and served industry leaders, consistently delivering engineering solutions that exceed expectations. In the telecom space, we have planned, fielded, and designed various types of networks and have tremendous knowledge and expertise with GPON, FTT(X), 5G, and copper reclamation. Additionally, the Apex Group provides excellent mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering solutions.

Fiber Design Project

Description: Provided high-level network planning, design, detailed (LLD & HLD) engineering design including field data collection & permit application, construction & permit drawings, make-ready engineering (MRE), and pole load analysis (PLA). The project included creating the fiber network for backhaul, front haul, ODN, and 5G networks. The final design with as-builts was updated in the target 3GIS system.

Achievement: Successfully provided designs for over 4 million feet to date.

Field Data Collection

For over 35 years, the Apex Group has provided field data collection services to telecom providers in the United States to help them achieve their goals. Our services support planning, designs, and auditing customer infrastructure.

Major Pole Inventory and Field Data Collection Project

Description: Performed a pole inventory and field data collection on over 15,000 utility-owned poles. The data collected included pole GPS coordinates, numerous pole attributes, height-of-attachments for all existing pole attachments, road clearances of existing communications cables, pole condition, photos of all poles and pole spans, and other associated data per project specifications and requirements.

Achievement: Completed the project on time and under budget.

Permitting

For over 25 years, the Apex Group has been delivering exceptional results through meticulous planning and execution with exemplary coordination and efficiency. We work closely with major telecom providers, cities, municipalities, railroad agencies, and many other jurisdictions across the United States, contributing to the success of our clients.

Major Telecom Fiber Project (Little Rock, AR)

Description: Collaborated on a significant fiber project, delivering 325 sites, with 370 miles of fiber and 775 permits for right-of-way (ROW) and joint use (JU).

Achievement: Demonstrated effective coordination and timely execution.

Telecom Projects (North Florida)

Description: Completed 44,000 Coax site surveys, 3,500 Fiber site surveys, and over 4,000 permits covering a large geographic area including FL, GA, AL, and SC.

Achievement: Our extensive experience and dedication to quality enabled the successful completion of these projects.

GIS & Data Management

For over 26 years, the Apex Group has created and/or converted many GIS OSP networks for multiple clients around the country. These projects total over 3 million miles created.

Major ICGS Conversion Project

Description: Migrated outside plant (OSP) paper records to electronic format in ICGS (now FIM). Completed over 125 Wire Centers and 3,750,000 Access Lines.
